BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Three members of the Baker University softball team were named to the 2016 Heart of America Athletic Conference All-Conference team, announced on Friday.
Hardgove led Baker in hitting her freshman season with a .355 batter average and led the team in hits with 61 and was hit by a pitch eight times, leading the squad.
Cardona was second on the team with her .335 hitting percentage, she led Baker in doubles with 22, triples with four, and RBI's with 43.
Brees led Baker in nearly every pitching catergory, ERA at 2.45, wins with 16, innings pitched 180.1, and her 222 strikeouts put her in the Top 10 nationally.
Hannah Tolliver also earned a spot on the Gold Glove team as the Gold Glove teams left field representative. She had just two errors 54 games played. Baker finished up the season with a record of 26-29.
