Sauder Field

Baseball

Home to the Baker baseball team, Sauder Field sits in the southwest section of the Charlie Richard Outdoor Sports Facility. After playing their games on the original Cavaness Field, the Wildcats moved over to the newly-constructed Sauder Field in 2003. The field underwent a big renovation in 2021 as part of the "Baker Builds Champions" capital project. The Wildcats played their first home game on their new, all-turf field in February of 2022. The renovation also included new dugouts, backstops, lights and stands and features a shared indoor hitting facility that sits between the baseball and softball fields.
