Karlin Collects NAIA All-America Honors
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Adding another honor to his standout career, Baker baseball's Camden Karlin was selected to the NAIA Third Team All-America as a utility player as the national office released its 2026 NAIA Baseball All-America Teams on Thursday afternoon.
The All-America honor caps a 2026 campaign in which Karlin was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year, earned First Team All-Heart recognition as both a pitcher and catcher, and was a Heart Gold Glove honoree at catcher. Prior to the season, Karlin was selected as an NAIA Preseason All-American.
Karlin was one of just four players from the Heart to land on the NAIA All-America list, joining Missouri Baptist's Carlos Hidalgo, MidAmerica Nazarene's Ronnie Rowley and Central Methodist's Ryan Malzahn.
As one of the most versatile players in the NAIA, Karlin appeared in all 49 games for the Wildcats this season as a pitcher, catcher or designated hitter while contributing in all facets of the game.
On the mound, Karlin posted an 8-2 record in 11 starts and led the Heart in both victories (8) and earned run average during the regular season. He finished the year with a 2.73 ERA, 55 strikeouts, seven complete games and three shutouts.
At the plate, Karlin led Baker in hits (57), batting average (.377) and RBI (38). He added eight doubles, one triple, nine home runs and 25 walks while serving as one of the team's most consistent offensive threats throughout the season.
Defensively, Karlin was a Gold Glove honoree after recording 33 assists, throwing out seven attempted base stealers and not committing an error behind the plate all season.
This past spring, Karlin helped lead the Wildcats to earn their most wins (29) in a season since 2023, including a strong finish that saw BU win eight of its final nine regular-season games.
