Glover Named NAIA Dance All-American
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Coming off their performances at the national championships, the Baker cheer and dance earned postseason recognition today as four Wildcats were named to the 2026 NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance All-America Teams.
Highlighting the honors, Baker cheer produced its first NAIA All-Americans in program history as Alaina Lorfing (Fr., Tonganoxie, Kan.) was selected to the All-America First Team, while Abby Patz (Fr., Oskaloosa, Kan.) and Jaiden Fisher (So., Shawnee, Kan.) each earned third-team honors.
On the dance side, Jersey Glover added another All-American accolade to the program's tradition, landing on the NAIA's third-team list. Along with the three cheer All-Americans, the freshman from Tonganoxie, Kan., was an All-Heart First Team honoree earlier this season as well.
Both teams competed and helped with hosting duties at the 2026 NAIA National Championships, which were held at the Stormont Vail Events Center on March 27-28. Making its 10th national appearance, the BU dance team placed ninth overall, while the cheer team took 15th in its NAIA championship debut.
With the cheer team wrapping up its historic 2026 season, the dance squad will compete in its final event of the season as the Wildcats head to the 2026 DTU College Classic on April 11-12 in Orlando, Fla.
