Jalen Patterson Earns NAIA Third Team All-American Honors

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – After a strong finals season with the Wildcats, Jalen Patterson has earned NAIA Third Team All-American honors, becoming the first Baker men's basketball player to earn this honor.

Patterson is the first player to receive third team honors, while both Brent Dorsey and Ben Steinlage earned honorable mention honors in 1998 and 2012.

In the team's first round conference tournament game, Patterson moved into sixth all-time in scoring at Baker University, passing Carl Danzig and finishes his career with 1,807 points, just 13 points shy of moving into fifth place all-time.

In his final season, Patterson scored a total of 564 points, ranking second in the Heart of America and 33rd in the NAIA. Patterson averaged 18.2 points per game, while also having 2.4 rebounds per game and 2.9 assists per game.
