Harvey Named Heart Offensive Player of the Week

BALDWIN CITY - Senior forward Quentin Harvey of the Baker men's basketball team was named Heart Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season following his performance in the Wildcats' pair of wins last week.

Harvey posted nearly identical outings with 24 points on the road against Missouri Valley on Wednesday, followed by 25 points in a home blowout over Culver-Stockton on Saturday. He shot at least 60 percent in both games, hitting five threes against the Vikings.

It marked the second conference player of the week honor for Harvey who won the award back in November during the first games of the Heart of America season. The senior from Tulsa, Okla. leads the team with 14.9 points per game and scored a season-high 32 points against Clarke on Nov. 16.

After grinding out a tough road win at William Penn yesterday, Harvey and the eighth-ranked Wildcats continue their road stretch with a matchup tomorrow at Park. Tipoff from the Breckon Sports Center is set for 7:30 p.m. in Parkville, Mo.
