Tucker Named Heart Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week

BALDWIN CITY - Senior guard Myles Tucker of the Baker men's basketball team was selected as Heart Offensive Player of the Week following his performance last week for the Wildcats.

Tucker averaged 25 points over three games last week, scoring a season-high 35 points in BU's narrow victory over Haskell on Sunday. He only missed two of his 14 field goals and went a perfect 5-for-5 from three against Haskell.

The senior from Ottawa, Ill., scored at least 19 points in each game last week to take early reins as BU's leading scorer, averaging exactly 20 points per game through his first four games as a Wildcat.

Tucker and the Wildcats return to action Wednesday, Nov. 13, traveling to McPherson for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff against the Bulldogs in a non-conference matchup before Heart of America play begins this weekend.
