Tishman Collects Heart Bowler of the Week Award

BALDWIN CITY - Ari Tishman of the Baker men's bowling team was named Heart Men's Bowler of the Week following his runner-up performance at the National Team Match Games this past weekend in Belleville, Ill.

Tishman, a freshman from Zapopan, Mexico, totaled 1,153 pins in five games for a 231 average, placing him second individually out of an impressive field of over 270 bowlers. Tishman registered the highest score among NAIA bowlers at the tournament and marked a 272 in his third game on Saturday, which went down as the third-best tally that day.

Tishman becomes the fourth overall Wildcat to receive the conference's weekly award on the men's side this year, joining teammates Ryan Julian, Logan Glinka and Connor Brennan, who have all previously garnered the honor.

After a successful start to their 2025-26 season, the Wildcats won't return to action until mid-December when they travel to Las Vegas to compete in the Glen Carlson Invite (Dec. 18-19) and the Collegiate Shootout (Dec. 20-21).
