Bio

Casey Suchor embarks on his second year as Baker head men's and women's bowling coach, heading into the 2025-26 season.

In an excellent 2025-26 campaign that started off with the Wildcats being ranked No. 1 in the RPI, Baker had four total bowlers land on the All-Heart teams, with men's bowlers Ryan Julian and Pedro Diaz-Gonzalez being named second-team selections, while Ari Tishman was an honorable mention. Kaleigh Buckalew of the BU women's team also earned honorable-mention honors.

In Suchor’s first season with the Baker Wildcats bowling teams, both programs delivered strong performances throughout the year but ultimately came up short at the conference tournament. On the men's side, three bowlers earned all conference honors, Junior Ken Rowland was named Second Team All-Conference while Josh King and PJ Dokolas both landed on the honorable mention list.

Suchor joins the Wildcats after bowling collegiately for Mount Mercy from 2020-2023 before going on to join the Mustangs coaching staff as a volunteer bowling coach during the 2023-24 season. Additionally, he served as a graduate assistant for the Mount Mercy women's golf team during the spring of 2024.

During his time as a student-athlete in Cedar Rapids, Suchor was a part of a Mustangs bowling team that reached the Intercollegiate Team Championships (ITC) Nationals three years in a row and was named team captain in his final season. He was recognized with the team's Unsung Hero Award and named the Comeback Player of the Team.
