Robledo Selected Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week

BALDWIN CITY - Kylie Robledo of Baker women's wrestling earned Heart Women's Wrestler of the Week honors, following her performance in a pair of competitions for BU last week.

Robledo went 3-0 in her matches last week, including back-to-back wins to claim her second individual title of the season at the York Open on Saturday. Her win in the championship match came against the NCAA's 11th-ranked wrestler at 110 pounds, according to The Open Mat. She started off the week by recording a tech fall in the Wildcats' 33-7 dual win over (RV) Missouri Baptist on Wednesday.

It was Robledo's second championship of the season after the senior from El Paso, Texas, took first at the Falcon Open in BU's season-opening competition.

Robledo and the Wildcats will host a pair of duals against Heart of America opponent and second-ranked Grand View and (RV) Saint Mary on Wednesday, Jan. 21, inside the Collins Center. Baker will first face the Vikings in a conference dual at 6 p.m., followed by a matchup with the Spires.
