Baker women's wrestling national qualifiers at 2026 NAIA Championships in Wichita

Robledo Places Fourth, Earns All-American Honors at 2026 NAIA Championships

WICHITA, Kan. - Kylie Robledo capped her incredible senior season with All-American honors, placing fourth at the 2026 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championships on Saturday and leading a group of seven total national qualifiers representing the Wildcats in Wichita, Kan.

Coming into the tournament unseeded at 110 pounds, Robledo fell in her very first match of the day on Friday before ripping off five straight wins to secure her first - and the program's sixth straight - All-American finish.

After falling to the No. 3 seed in her first match, Robledo bounced back with back-to-back tech falls in the consolation round before pulling out a tough 6-3 decision in the blood round to guarantee a top-eight finish.

The senior from El Paso, Texas, continued her sensational run on Saturday, opening up with a high-scoring decision (18-10) in the consolation quarterfinals before exacting some revenge on Providence's Paige Morales in the semifinals. Robledo redeemed her Friday match against Morales, besting the third-ranked wrestler this time on a 7-0 decision to move on to the third-place match.

Robledo's tournament run ended in the placement match with a second-period loss, earning her a fourth-place national finish in her third career NAIA appearance.

Chloe Herrick (117) and Margaret Jordan (180) both came away with multiple wins in Wichita with the scrappy Herrick pulling out a couple of pins after being down in her matches. Jordan won two matches at 180 pounds, including a quick first-period pin in the third round of the consolation bracket.

Hailee Crosland opened up her first national tournament appearance with a victory in the first round at 160 pounds before the sophomore from Carbondale, Kan., bowed out in her next two matches.

Johanna Carrasco (180), Aileya Sath (131) and Madeleine Stone (207) also competed for the Wildcats at the NAIA tournament, rounding out a Baker contingent that featured a program-record seven national qualifiers.

Baker women's wrestling finishes off a successful 2025-26 season that saw the Wildcats place fifth in the team standings at the Heart Championships and 19th at the NAIA Championships, while boasting seven national qualifiers and a sixth straight All-American.
